The number of prominent retailers and companies to jump on board Apple’s new Passbook for iOS 6 is climbing every day.
Target confirmed Friday that it will also support Passbook in iOS 6 on the iPhone and iPod touch.
Passbook – the “simplest way” to get all your passes in one place – is a good fit for the retailer, which will now enable Target guests to easily receive and store Target Mobile Coupons.
“We’re thrilled to bring our guests the ability to use Target Mobile Coupons via Passbook on their iPhone and iPod touch,” said Phil McKoy, vice president of Target.com. “Passbook marks an exciting step forward as Target continues to seek the most innovative ways to deliver a great shopping experience to our guests.”
The Target app, where guests can now receive Target Mobile Coupons, is available for free from the App Store on iPhone or iPod touch, or through iTunes.
